Early Writings

Before my career in operations, technology, and executive leadership, I was an English major at Louisiana State University and a contributor to the Plaquemine Post South. These articles, written in the early 1990s, represent some of my earliest published work.

While many began as film reviews, they often explored broader themes of leadership, culture, politics, ethics, storytelling, and the human experience. Looking back more than three decades later, I can see many of the same interests that continue to shape my writing today.

The pieces below are presented largely as they originally appeared when first published.

These articles offer a glimpse into the beginnings of a lifelong interest in writing, communication, storytelling, and the ideas, stories, and experiences that connect people.
